			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Puhka Eestis (Have a vacation in Estonia) is the domestic brand of Welcome to Estonia that promotes tourism in Estonia.</p>
<p>For promoting their website www.puhkaeestis.ee a Facebook page (Puhka Eestis) was set in motion. As one of the supporting features for the FB page a custom application was created as well.</p>
<p><span id="more-415"></span>The main objectives for application were to:</p>
<p>-          Create traffic to <a href="http://www.puhkaeestis.ee/">www.puhkaeestis.ee</a></p>
<p>-          Inform users of the many possibilities for nice summer vacations in Estonia</p>
<p>-          Raise the number of people joining Puhka Eestis FB page</p>
<p><strong>The solution:</strong></p>
<p>A quiz with 10 questions about different subjects on Estonia and its sights and tourism attractions were made up. Every question has a hint button that directs the users to a specific section on <a href="http://www.puhkaeestis.ee/">www.puhkaeestis.ee</a> web page where they can look for the answer. Before taking the quiz the users can see what scores their friends have got and after taken the quiz see their place among friends.</p>
<p>As an extra bonus everyone who takes the quiz can win two tickets to a big summer festival</p>
<p>Possibilities to invite more friends and share the result were added to application and a link to Puhka Eestis FB page to make it more visible on Facebook.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Villa Benita – a retirement home and a hospital for convalescent care and dementia was looking for a new web page that would present all their services under one concept.<span id="more-401"></span></p>
<p>The main objectives were:<br />
- To show that Villa Benita is an elite establishment that has the best service, equipment, rooms and employees available.<br />
- To show that Villa Benita is something totally different than any other similar establishment. More in touch with their patients, more caring and more modern.</p>
<p><strong>The solution:</strong></p>
<p>We came up with a concept that was targeted to persons who were looking for this kind of services not for themselves but for their parents or older relatives. So the key message was to look professional and trustworthy. The site provides a lot of info about Villa Benita itself and about the services they provide. The main direction of the web is to urge visitors to make contact with Villa Benita to provide the best possible solution you are looking for.</p>
<p>Site has also a lot of visual content showing the interior and every-day life of the habitats, giving an emotional support to texts. As the target group in general is older than the regular internet user functions as “increase font size” and “print page” were added to all the article pages.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Rimi needed online campaign materials to announce opening of two new Supermarkets. One in Tabasalu (close to Tallinn) and second one in Taksu (shopping center in Tartu).</p>
<p><span id="more-380"></span>The objectives of the campaign were:<br />
- Creating a positive image for the new shops<br />
- Collect favourite product wishes from potential everyday customers<br />
- Collecting of e-mail addresses from potential everyday customers for future mailings</p>
<p><strong>The solution:</strong></p>
<p>Solution needed to be easy to use and fun for users. So according to clients a campaign site and a Facebook custom tab had to be created.</p>
<p>As both of the supermarkets had the same concept and interior a similar campaign page was created for both.</p>
<p>For creating a positive image of the new stores a 3D walk-through movie was created to give a preview of the shop from persons perspective and a interactive 3D store map was created giving the visitor a possibility to get info about different areas of the shop.</p>
<p>For collecting favorite products from the campaign visitors a kind of wish-list application with a top chart was created, where people could enter their goods of desire and give extra points to goods already entered by others.</p>
<p>For collecting e-mail addresses Rimi offered in return for leaving your name and e-mail address a possibility to win gift cards weekly and as a Grand Prix 10 000 EEKs worth of goods on the opening day of the supermarket.</p>
<p>And as in addition a poll function was added for collecting visitor insights.</p>
<p>For Rimi Facebook page a custom designed tabs were created with embedded intro video and shortcuts to different pages of the campaign site.</p>
<p><strong>The result:</strong></p>
<p>Without any media endorsement and campaign that has a really small target group (people who live in Tartu and Tabasalu). As a result in 10 days around 3000 visitors subscribed to client database and more than 1000 different products were entered to product list (in Tartu Tasku top 10 products collected over 3000 votes all together).</p>
<p>The recipe itself is pretty simple – create attractive and interactive content, add a section for user built content, top it with some nice prizes and don’t let it go too serious.</p>

Especially students were interested on so called &#8220;case studies&#8221; and testimonials of older students in same schools and universities.</p>
<p><span id="more-369"></span>One of the biggest polytechnics, Metropolia representative says that in high season (springtime) their site gets visitors up to 15 000 unique visitors per day.</p>
<p>Next to universities own websites, also social media such as facebook and twitter presence was seen important when looking for information among students.</p>
<p>The stydy was organized by company called <a href="http://www.studentum.fi/" target="_blank">Studentum </a>and was carried out in all Nordic countries.</p>

<p>Video is based on classical <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rube_Goldberg_machine" target="_blank">Rube Goldberg machine,</a> and the idea I think is great.  This reminds me of the old classic computer game <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Incredible_Machine" target="_blank">The incredible Machine</a>, what was extremely addictive. What came as surprise for me is that the first versions were published already at the beginning of the 1990s. I dont remember it being that long ago <img src='http://nitro.ee/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  . Newertheless, the music video by OK Go is worth cheking out, and also I warmly recommend to take a look at the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsPn-tD5zvg" target="_blank">making of clips</a>, after seeing these one really understands the effort sometimes couple of minute video production requires..</p>

Now some of you may think that this site is nothing out of the ordinary, and we do agree&#8230; This site is built on top of woprdpress, and even using a theme what is commercial and can be bought from online.</p>
<p>Why ?   We think that we dont need to win<a href="http://thefwa.com/" target="_blank"> site of the day from FWA</a> with this website, but we want it to be clear, informative and deliver the message to our audience while offering easy ways to contact us . We would prefer to be listed in FWA with our client work, not with own website, as the case may be with creative agencies.<br />
We wanted also the site to be SEO friendly, and serve information in several languages (Yes, Estonian and Finnish language versions are coming shortly)</p>
