Wordpress is one of the most popular and active open-source publishing platforms. Wordpress is well known for it’s original purpose as being blog publishing platform, with this solution you can create much more than just blogs. At the moment wordpress-platfor has more than 4000 extensions to it’s already wide original features, and new ones are being published daily. The platform has really wide open source community providing development help and new solutions. Joomla!

Joomla! CMS – system has been in market for long time. It is originally based on Mambo – system, and it is today one of the most actively developed CMS-systems in market.

Joomla has also more than 4000 extensions to offer. They vary from e-business solutions to social media (community) building modules.

However joomla has it’s own logic what is not always opening to administrators, the components and modules usually compensates the downsides.

Drupal

Drupal is the latest addition to our service portfolio. Drupal is at the moment propalby most active developed open source CMS-system. Drupal is used in wide range, from personal sites to enterprise solutions. For example large listed stock companies have solutions based on top of drupal. Drupal is developing on really fast phase and it will be (if it already is not) the next big thing in content management.

Even though there are great open source CMS-solutions in market, sometimes there’s a need for such a specific solution that it needs to be built separately for the case. Symfony-framework offers a robust and strong backend-system for this kind of cases. If the solution / site that is being developed is estimated for example to have heavy traffic, or there’s a need for system integrations, this would be a reliable backend-system.
